The band comments:

“‘King Is Rising’ was the album where we first truly found the sound that HAMMER KING still stand for today. Ten years later, these songs feel just as powerful as they did back then. With the remaster, we wanted to give them the sound we had always envisioned – without changing their soul. For us, this release is both a salute to our Hammer Heroes and an invitation for everyone to rediscover the origins of our kingdom.”

The remaster was handled by Alexander Ecker, giving the songs more punch, clarity and depth while preserving the original character of the album. “Last Hellriders” perfectly represents the combination of classic heavy metal, epic atmosphere and anthemic choruses that helped establish HAMMER KING’s signature sound on “King Is Rising” back in 2016.

The album marked an important step in the band’s evolution and laid the foundation for everything that followed. Over the years, HAMMER KING have continued to build their status within the European metal scene, with releases such as “Kingdemonium”, “König und Kaiser” and most recently “Make Metal Royal Again” taking the band into the German album charts and onto stages across Europe.

Following the reissue of their debut album “Kingdom Of The Hammer King” and their anniversary tour in 2025, the band now continue their journey through their own history with “King Is Rising (10th Anniversary Remastered Edition)”.

HAMMER KING released their last album Make Metal Royal Again! worldwide on August 15, 2025, via Reaper Entertainment.

The album was recorded from February 3 to March 24, 2025, at Studio Greywolf, under the direction of Charles Greywolf and Titan Fox V. Mixing and mastering took place from March 30 to May 7 at the renowned Hansen Studios, courtesy of Jacob Hansen.

The imposing cover artwork was once again created by Péter Sallai, who delivers his fourth masterpiece in a row for the band. Inspired by The Last Supper, the artwork explores themes of power, influence, and identity – portraying both the band and their royal court in striking detail.
