DELAIN announces first show with new line-up in November 2022

As previously announced Dutch symphonic metal titans Delain announced it will not continue as a project, but as a full band. The band’s founder and leader Martijn Westerholt released a statement in which he said that all new members will be announced as soon as the band is ready to share the new music. They now announce the first official show in Hedon, in Westerholt’s hometown Zwolle, the Netherlands, on November 4th, 2022.
In an official promo for the show, available below, the band now shares a first audio snippet, including the voice of the new, yet undisclosed singer.
Says Delain:
We are thrilled to announce our very first show of 2022 which will take place at Hedon in Zwolle (The Netherlands) on Friday, November 4th! In addition to the familiar, well-loved songs, we will also play brand new material from the upcoming album. If you don’t want to miss out, buy your tickets AT THIS LOCATION.
Because a lot of people were really curious about new material, we used some music from our upcoming album in this video. (Spoiler) There is also a small sample of our new singer on there. 😉 Just wait until you hear her sing in full force! There will be more teaser clips in the coming months followed by the first very first single of the album. So keep an eye on our social media platforms for updates!

The band previously announced the return of former members Sander Zoer (drums) and Ronald landa (guitar). Furthermore former bandmember and current Epica bass player.
Last year, Delain announced to part ways with all its members, saying in a statement:
Martijn Westerholt in the meantime has confirmed to be working on a new DELAIN album, which will be released under Napalm Record again. More band members will be announced in the coming months.
