GAEREA release “Shallow”, new song plus three alternative versions
02-11-2026
Right before embarking on their upcoming North American tour alongside Imminence and Dying Wish, Portugal’s GAEREA unveil their new standalone track, “Shallow”. The song features Jo Quaill.
Watch “Shallow” below.
The band comments: “‘Shallow’ was written on the edge where depression and clarity briefly meet in an endless dance. It is a song about hoping for a brighter day while sinking deeper into the dark sheets of self-loathing. One of the most experimental tracks GAEREA have ever created, it gave rise to extensive vocal and orchestral experimentation and serves as a reflection of what GAEREA has become throughout ten years of relentless creativity, touring, and complete commitment to our true selves.”
Watch the previously released ‘Nomad”, ‘Phoenix’, ‘Submerged’ and ‘Hellbound’ below.
