HALIPHRON calls it quits

06-06-2025

After having previously announced the departure of singer Marloes and guitarist Jeroen, the rest of the members of HALIPHRON have now decided to disbandon the band.

Bassist Yessica Otten states on her social media:

@haliphron_metal disappeared as quickly as it appeared a few years ago. Definitely with heads held high, quitting while we were on top of our game.

It pains me to say goodbye, but I look back on this adventure with a huge smile on my face. Which band can honestly say that within four years they managed to release two full-length albums, play shows at massive festivals like Bloodstock and Copenhell, share stages as direct support to Arch Enemy and Obituary, grace the cover of Aardschok Magazine, and earn support from some of the best in the scene?

Thank you @marloes_voxdeamonis , @jeroen_tba @david_gutierrez_rojas @ramon.p81 , Paul, @frankskillpero and @janwillem.vanvoorst for this incredible adventure. I wouldn’t have wanted to miss it for the world.

Hit me up if you’re in need of a (session) bass player!

HALIPHRON released their second album ‘Anatomy Of Darkness‘ last October, on Listenable Records.

Jeroen and Marloes were previously involved in the long running thrash metal band IZEGRIM. The band also features former BLEEDING GODS guitarist Ramon Ploeg and keyboard player David Gutierrez Rojas, and former DICTATED  members Jessica Otten (bass) and Frank Schilperoort (drums, also of GOD DETHRONED), who was later replaced by Paul Beltman.
