SIXES Cancels Shows After Guitarist Placed In Medically-Induced Coma
Root of illness unknown as band cancels all upcoming performances and studio time

California blackened sludge heathens SIXES have canceled all upcoming performances due to an unknown illness that has left guitarist Hannes Bogacs in a medically-induced coma.

The band has issued the following statement:
Due to recent events, SIXES will be canceling all upcoming shows, including our appearance at Planet Mammoth Fest in Arizona. Our dear friend and guitarist Hannes Bogacs has fallen ill. On Feb. 9, Hannes was admitted to a hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is currently in a medically-induced coma and awaiting further tests to determine the cause of his illness. Our hearts and support go out to his family and loved ones. To all of our fans, we appreciate your patience, understanding, and support. We will keep you updated as details unfold.

In December, the band released the single “Misery Hag,” which will be included on the band’s upcoming sophomore album Cokesucker. No release date has been set.

SIXES released their debut album, Methistopheles, in 2018.
