It’s Official: Tool Guitarist Adam Jones’ Signature Gibson Les Paul Is Now in Production
“It doesn’t get more OFFICIAL than this,” the band wrote.
After Gibson had confirmed a signature Les Paul guitar for Tool guitarist Adam Jones earlier this year, the band has now announced that the electric six-string is officially in production.
Along with a photo of a stack of instruments, the group wrote through its social channels:
“It doesn’t get more OFFICIAL than this. Adam Jones Gibson Signature Guitars now in production!“
The guitar manufacturer previously commented:
“The Gibson Custom Shop is also working with legendary and multi-talented Tool guitarist artist, sculptor, special effects designer, videographer and producer Adam Jones on recreating his original 1979 Les Paul Custom Silverburst that can be seen live on stage with Adam today in support of their world tour and blockbuster new album ‘Fear Inoculum.’ More details to come on this project later in 2020.“
