FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, the multi-platinum, record-breaking hard rock powerhouse, is celebrating the conclusion of the North American leg of its massive “20th Anniversary World Tour” with a $200,000 donation in support of Team USA athletes preparing for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.
Throughout the tour, the band allocated a portion of every ticket sold to the initiative, joining forces with its fans to support athletes representing USA Judo and USA Cycling BMX Racing + BMX Freestyle programs.
Unlike many other nations, the United States does not provide direct federal funding to its Olympic and Paralympic teams, making private contributions essential to supporting American athletes as they train and compete on the world stage.
On Friday, October 23, during the final night of the tour at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, Virginia, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH celebrated the initiative by presenting $200,000 to USA Judo and USA Cycling.
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH‘s founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory shares: “We cheer for our athletes when they step onto the world stage representing our country, but we also want to stand behind them during the years of work it takes to get there.
“I started judo at nine years old, and I still compete today. I know what it can give a person, how it shapes your mind, builds discipline, and teaches you to face adversity. Those lessons stayed with me far beyond the mat. I’ve built a life and a career on those principles. That’s why supporting USA Judo is deeply personal to me. I want more people to discover this sport, and I want the athletes who reach its highest level to have the resources to pursue their full potential.
“Our fans’ support puts us in a position to give back, and we’re grateful for that opportunity. As we close out our 2026 tour cycle, this is something we can all be proud of together, and we’ll continue building on it in 2027.”
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH vocalist Ivan Moody says: “As a kid, I remember wanting to pursue a life amongst the BMX greats. My bike wasn’t a toy; it was my best homie, my key to freedom. My balance. Music is where my heart belongs. But there are moments where I still dream the dream by watching the new world of riders as they evolve and continue to grow with the sport. In 5FDP, we get to live our dream because of the love and the support we receive from our fans. To be able to donate to a cause this close to my heart… let’s just say, I feel like I’m donating to that young boy that is still riding quarter pipes and learning combos with his friends. Full circle. GO USA. Roll Out.”
FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH has released a music video for the song “Nails In The Coffin” earlier this year. The track is taken from the band’s tenth studio album, “Legacy”, which was made available digitally on Friday, July 31, while the CD, vinyl and cassette versions will land on September 18.

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH‘s founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory offered his perspective on the track: “( FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH singer) Ivan (Moody) never defines the meaning of his lyrics. He doesn’t want to rob the fans of their own interpretation, so a song means whatever it’s supposed to mean to each listener. That’s by design, and I love that about him. But to me, ‘Nails In The Coffin’ is about burying the things that tried to bury us. Every doubt, every prediction that we wouldn’t last, every catastrophe that was supposed to be the last nail in our coffin. 20 years later, we are still here and we’re the ones holding the hammer.”
“Legacy” is the record Bathory and his FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH bandmates regard as the definitive statement of everything they are. The album arrived on the heels of current single “Eye Of The Storm”, delivering the band’s 18th No. 1 on Billboard‘s Mainstream Rock chart, extending their own record for the most consecutive No. 1s in the chart’s 45-year history. Few bands reach a 20th anniversary. Fewer still reach it at the height of their commercial power.
Revolver praised the track’s blend of battering riffs and melody driven by Moody‘s introspective vocal performance, while Loudwire called it “a furious opening statement for the new album cycle.”
Bathory left no doubt about where “Legacy” stands in the band’s catalog: “This album is our loud and clear answer to the question of whether a band can stay true to the signature sound that has become the soundtrack to millions of fans’ daily lives and still write something new and exciting. ‘Legacy’ is an absolute monster, an unapologetic monument to how far we’ve come, and a clear signal that we’re not even thinking about slowing down. If you asked me to pick the one record that best represents the essence of this band, I would hand you this one.”

FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH previously celebrated celebrating its 20th anniversary with the release of “Best Of – Volume 1”, a collection of re-recorded versions of their most iconic chart-topping songs. This move comes in response to the sale of the band’s original master recordings by their former label, an action made without their knowledge or the opportunity to reclaim their own work.
An offering from the 20th-anniversary edition, in a poetic coincidence, happens to be titled “I Refuse”, a fan favorite that was always meant to be a single. This reimagined, re-recorded version of “I Refuse”, now features guest vocals from Maria Brink of IN THIS MOMENT.
