U.K. Subs – Disturbance – The End Of Ernie
Guess these English chaps liked their time with us so much , that they decided to come back. Can any current punkband be both so legendary & so alive and kicking as the UK Subs? Inspired by the Damned at the birth of British Punk, the now equally legendary Charlie Harper formed the Subs out of his then R&B outfit The Marauders, circa summer 1977. The indefatigable 74 years young frontman he is, leads his band into it’s 43nd year of existence, still maintaining a regular touring schedule all over the world. So brace yourselves for an evening of live punk history at it’s finest with the one and only UK SUBS
Punked for life!! Disturbance (NL.) needs no introduction: delivering the best of ’77 –’82 punk sounds in their own way for 23 years from London to China. Every bit fresh these DIY Dutch cats deliver a straight up pogo party! So put your heart where your mouth is and sing-a-long.
THE END OF ERNIE
Existing since ’89 (!!) in different line ups and playing all over on a regular base, supporting DIY scenes, combining old and new sounds without losing an inch of intensity. Yes, this pretty much sums up the way punk should be: always evolving , never dead. Come and take a class in true punk.
