(AFGELAST) Black Peaks – Jamie Lenman – Phoxjaw
Tot onze grote spijt (en teleurstelling) gaat het optreden van Black Peaks op dinsdag 15 oktober 2019 niet door. Een van de bandleden is ernstig ziek en moet op korte termijn een zware operatie ondergaan. Wij wensen hem (en de andere leden) heel veel sterkte toe, natuurlijk. Als alles uiteindelijk goed gaat, zal de band over enige tijd de Europese tour alsnog gaan doen, maar vooralsnog valt daar niet veel zekers over te vertellen. Daarom zal Patronaat overgaan tot het terugstorten van alle gekochte kaarten. Dit zal, voor iedereen die e-tickets heeft, automatisch gaan. U hoeft dus niets te doen, verder.
Mocht er, wat we stellig hopen, een nieuwe datum komen voor het optreden, zullen we u op dezelfde manier informeren, als met deze boodschap is gebeurd: via onze website, en alle e-ticketkopers krijgen bericht per e-mail.
Hard-copy kaarten kunnen naar ons worden gestuurd (Zijlsingel 2, 2013 DN Haarlem), vergeet niet uw naam en IBAN even daar bij te vermelden.
De band zelf heeft deze mededeling erover gedaan:
“This is not a message we want to write, but after the last few months we feel it necessary to be fully detailed and entirely honest with you all.
On Sunday our brother Will rang us to tell us that following a pre-tour check up, his doctor informed him the initial infection which led to his near-death experience earlier this year had returned. The result was that he has had to be scheduled for emergency surgery, and will be out of action for at least 6 weeks.
This is not only terrible and frightening news on a personal level, it obviously overlaps with the entirety of our upcoming UK and Europe headline tour.
We have been racking our brains to try to come up with a solution, or a potential way of continuing with the tour, but in reality we as a band do not want to give anyone a sub-par performance. There is no easy way to say this, but the decision between the band and our team is to reschedule the dates until we are sure that Will is recovered.
To have this news just before the tour starting is devastating and we’re all still processing this. We hope you all appreciate this was not an easy decision to make, and can only thank you for your continued support and understanding
We will be back, and the rescheduled dates will happen. More info will come when we have a full timeline on Will’s recovery.
