DEAR MOTHER (ex Delain members) release new single Wildfire and announce new shows for 2024

01-12-2023

DEAR MOTHER, the brainchild of Dutch guitarist Merel Bechtold and singer David Pear, is releasing a new track ‘Wildfire’ today. In addition, the band also announces new tour dates.

Watch ‘Wildfire’ below.

‘We initially wrote Wildfire for our first studio album Bulletproof, but we felt like it threw the album off balance with another mid-tempo song. But when we played the song live, it just felt good. Also we got great feedback from our followers, so it only makes sense to make it official and add it on the upcoming EP.’ Despite being independent, their first album ‘Bulletproof’, reached millions of streams on Spotify.

DEAR MOTHER is known for their energetic live shows full of chemistry thanks to their internal connection and personal approach. Everyone is welcome to join the DEAR MOTHER family in April 2024. The band will play a limited number of club shows in the Netherlands. It’s a conscious choice to pick small venues for maximum impact and a more intimate experience. These will be the only headline club shows in 2024, because the band will be working on an album that’s expected in 2025.

Show dates:
17 04 Patronaat, Haarlem
19 04 Luxor, Arnhem
21 04 Willem Twee, ‘s-Hertogenbosch (afternoon show)
