HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Wednesday marked the unveiling of the latest addition to Gretsch Guitars‘ storied catalog, the Limited Edition Gretsch Princess Antonoff Electromatic CVT– a signature instrument paying homage to Antonoff’s versatility as a songwriter, producer, and instrumentalist.

This highly customized CVT model is a testament to commitment to fine craftsmanship and excellence, with the process spanning over three years of collaboration to make Jack’s perfect guitar. Credited by Rolling Stone as “almost single-handedly made modern pop into a glorious safe space, an expansive, sensitive, creative biosphere,” the globally celebrated, eleven-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, and producer, Jack Antonoff, has collaborated with the likes of Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, The 1975, Diana Ross, Lorde, St. Vincent, Spoon, Florence + The Machine, Kevin Abstract and more. In February 2024, Antonoff won Producer of the Year at the Grammy Awards, becoming only the second producer in history to win three years running.

As a unique blend of a Gretsch Princess and a Fender Jazzmaster, Jack’s new guitar brings together the best of both worlds, combining vintage charm with modern versatility”.

To celebrate this unique release, a captivating 12-minute short film features a “Signature Session” showcasing Antonoff’s band, Bleachers, performing the tracks “How Dare You Want More” and “Modern Girl.” In the film, Jack shares his longstanding musical relationship with Fender and Gretsch Guitars, discussing the inspiration behind the CVT’s specifications and the innovative concept of blending elements to create a never-before-seen guitar
