Earlier this year, Delain members Charlotte Wessels (vocals), Timo Somers (guitar), Otto Schiimelpennick van der Oije (bass, harsh vocals) and Joey de Boer (drums) collectively quit the band. With that decision, the longest lasting formation of Delain came to an end. After a long silence, now founder and band leader Martijn Westerholt exclusively and open-heartedly tells what caused the split, how he tried to solve things and what the future of the band will entail. And he is determined to proceed.
