On The House: Heavy! staat vanavond geheel in het teken van “Severance of Serenity”, het nieuwe album van de Bossche/Apeldoornse melodieuze deathmetal band Nephylim.
Het album is vanaf 18 januari te verkrijgen op alle social media platformen en als een tot 100 stuks gelimiteerde digipack cd.
“Severance of Serenity” bevat 10 tracks met agressieve, deathmetal met progressieve en atmosferische melodieën, afgetopt met kleine hints naar doom en blackmetal. De band is hierbij geïnspireerd door bands als Insomnium, Omnium, Gatherum en Be’lakor.
Vanavond staat in het teken van “Severance of Serenity”, maar Nephylim zal worden bijgestaan door 2 bevriende bands, Apallic uit Duitsland en Curse of the Forgotten uit Ermelo.

Apallic
Deathmetal gevormd door bands als At The Gates, Opeth en Enslaved, dat is wat het Duitse Apallic ons gaat voorschotelen vanavond. De band bracht in 2015 de ep “Somnium” uit, gevolgd door het debuutalbum “Of Faith And Sanity” in 2017. Een conceptalbum waarbij de hoofdrolspeler in vegetatieve staat verkeerd en probeert te ontdekken wie en waar hij is in het verleden, heden en in de toekomst.

Curse of the Forgotten
Met hun zware, melodische metal heeft Curse of the Forgotten het podium al gedeeld met Mayan, Inquisitor, Heidevolk, God Dethroned en Carach Angren.
Vanavond staan ze in de Willem-Twee om de albumpresentatie van Nephylim te openen.
